I'm not sure if it has to do with the type of stone/ how the stone takes polish... But the couple pairs I ordered, I could still see rough machining marks and the polish is virtually non existent (matte appearance). I wasn't sure if a couple just slipped by a bit more unfinished this way or if others would also appear a bit more "rough". ALL of the other stones I've received from this company have been amazingly smooth and glossy with the finish (that's why I'm thinking it's possibly characteristic of this particular stone to present a more matte appearance.. of which I wasn't expecting)
Still very beautiful patterns and textures! They look like airplane views over forests with rivers- super cool!
