As some other reviewers have pointed out these pearls do have some “swirling pitting” or lines around them— these are natural and beautiful features of the pearls and do not subtract from their grandeur. The overwhelming majority of the pearls are beautifully round and have a lovely, deep luster to them. They are true to size and maybe even a little large, but the strand is gorgeous and plentiful for many projects (depending on your intended use).
