I purchased one strand of the 3.5mm facet rounds. The strands contained about 112 beads. The beads are all uniform in size, drilled evenly, and appear to be without major flaws.
Rutile quartz can be difficult to anticipate what you're going to get, unless you are paying for a curated strand of specific beads. The beads I received matched my expectations and previous experience; they vary from a very clear to milky white, some with dark spots or inclusions. The golden rutile varies from what looks like a tiny strand of tinsel to thick chatoyant streaks, and a few beads are entirely golden. In the whiter beads it can be harder to see the rutile, but they do appear to all have some.
