large n lovely. vivid. excellent as a power/visual element.
The amethyst cylinder is cut and polished nicely and has great color on one side of it. Unfortunately it lacks the pattern shown on the examples. Instead, the color on the cylinder is split almost perfectly vertically with the front half a solid shade of purple and the back a cloudy white. It is still a pretty stone and I will wear it, but it's not what was shown in the example photos.
