These stones are very nice and I will enjoy using them. I'm guessing that my strand came from a second clutch of strands. The purple isn't quite as intense and was hoping for a bit more sheen from more mica. Even having said that, I think they will make beautiful rings.

Ordered in two sizes. Per the seller, these are purple mica mixed with a white calcite matrix (i.e., it is a soft material). They are really unusual beads & I like them. Thank you very much. :-)
