The mine is located at an elevation of 4,000 m, in a frigid area with thin air. There is no more mining, making this stone highly sought after. Lazasine is a gem-quality feldspar derived from volcano sediments related to Jurassic-Cretaceous volcanic rocks. This copper-bearing feldspar (andesine) is prized for its color and rarity. This red andesine is also called "Tibetan sunstone" and "Tibetan red labradorite", and endowed with spiritual power.

Very pretty stones. They are exactly as pictured definitely a Randell shape instead of round though
These are nice little rondelles. There is almost a matt quality about the beads, with the way that they are cut. But they appear uniform and sparkle. Thanks again! :-)
