I purchased one strand of these 2-3mm faceted cubes. The strand held a nice even 165 beads. The beads are uniform in size, and they fell closer to the 2mm side of measurement.
With rutile quartz, there will inherently be a variety of different appearances to the beads. As these are fairly small, it can be difficult to see the streaks of rutilation. Some of the beads to appear to be perfectly clear, and you have to look very close to see it. This is normal and to be expected. The rutile in some beads is darker, closer to black, and with some is more orange, but overall is a crisp and bright red.
The cut is uniform across the order. There are few if any flawed beads.
The photo is taken under tungsten lighting and is slightly edited to remove the yellow tint.
