I have been very pleased with the 2mm tanzanite cube beads I purchased from Intrinsic Trading. Tanzanite seems to come in a wide range of color, with some beads being fairly dark (and virtually indistinguishable from the blue sapphire of the same size and cut) while some are much paler. But even the pale ones have good color. The cubed beads (as compared with round ones) treat the eye to a solid line of color, and the facets provide sparkle in a necklace or earrings that — because of the small bead size, is still very delicate and feminine. I’m not a gemologist or a professional jeweler so I can’t speak to the technical quality of the beads (I rely on Intrinsic Trading for that), but from my perspective the quality is excellent: I am producing jewelry that I am proud to wear and proud to give as gifts, jewelry that always draws compliments from others. And I am also very happy with the speed with which my orders have been fulfilled. Thank you!
